Huerta Neals, RA, LEED AP

Huerta has a B.A. from the Howard University School of Architecture. He has worked and consulted in the tri-state area since 1992. Huerta has Architectural and construction management experience in many project types ranging from Office High-Rise, Complex Medical, Educational, High-End Retail and Residential. Several of the projects Huerta has worked on are expected to receive LEED Certification, including the World Trade Center. As a project Architect he has extensive experience coordinating with clients, engineers, fabricators and contractors. Huerta is a LEED AP and holds his Architecture license in New York State.

Michael Wymant, LEED AP

With a background in Project Management and Real Estate Development, Michael has experience in over 30 LEED projects. Michael has worked with the Florida Solar Energy Center as a LEED for Homes Field Agent. He has also assisted the Canadian Green Building Council in implementing LEED Action Plans in both the public and private sector for their LEED for Existing Building program. Michael is also a Senior Consultant with LEHR Construction Corporation in Manhattan. At LEHR, Michael launched their Sustainable Building Division in 2008, which is responsible for design, tracking credits and documenting LEED points for certification, he offers unique in-site to coordinating real life LEED.

Johnny Epstein, PE, LEED AP

Johnny is a structural engineer with his BSCE from Purdue University and his MSCE from Georgia Tech. He passed his PE, SE, and LEED exams all on the first attempt, and received a 4.0 GPA in his graduate coursework at Georgia Tech. In addition to his involvement with multiple high-rise designs and building projects attempting LEED certification, Johnny has over 6 years experience at engineering consulting firms, utilizing a wide variety of materials and occupancy types, including residential, retail, mixed-use, health care, and rehabilitation of existing structures.

Lindsay O’Leary, E.I., LEED AP

Lindsay has a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction from the University of Central Florida. Lindsay has worked in all phases of residential, commercial, and mixed use land development. Her experience includes preliminary site analysis, permitting, sustainable site design, stormwater best management practices, and construction administration. Lindsay demonstrated her passion for green living by serving as chairperson of her previous company’s volunteer team and developed internal green office initiatives. Lindsay is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council Central Florida Chapter, a LEED AP, and a registered Engineering Intern in the State of Florida.

John Mitchell

John holds multiple BPI specializations including Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, Heating Professional, and Multifamily Building Analyst. John is a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Combat Engineer specializing in demolitions and explosions. He is also an EPA lead supervisor and contractor and a New York State DOL Asbestos Supervisor. John has performed over 500 home performance audits and has over 10 years of experience training individuals and corporations in building performance.

Norm Jen

Norm has over 22 years of general contracting experience in single and multi-family residential construction (over 150 homes built). He has an engineering degree from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Wharton School. He has extensive experience in corporate marketing presentations and has worked with the Jenesis Building Corporation- an accredited BPI company – in NYSERDA Home Performance with Energy Star Program projects. He has also passed the HERS Rater exam and is in the process of becoming certified as a HERS Rater.

Howard Vics

Howard graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, with an emphasis in heat transfer and material science. He holds all BPI certifications. He is also a certified level II Infrared Thermographer with specialties in Building Science and Weatherization applications. He is a program partner with the New York State Home Performance with Energy Star Program, and the Energy STAR labeled new homes program. Howard lives in Schenectady, NY with his wife and 3 children.
