BPI Building Analyst Flex Course
To allow you to minimize the time spent away from work, CleanEdison is now offering the ultimate in flexible scheduling for achieving your Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certification in the Building Analyst. This live flex course includes a webinar, hosted by CleanEdison’s top instructors for each topic, which takes place two hours a day on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, either during the workday or in the evening. You can choose whether to sign up for the online portion by itself, or the entire course package of webinar, field training, and testing, below.
If you have conflicts with any of the live broadcast schedule, you will be able to access the recorded seminar any time after noon the day after it is broadcast, and those recorded sessions will remain accessible for the remainder of the course.
Like the in-class course, through the webinar, you will gain a solid understanding of the basic principles of building science, enabling you to assess energy efficiency in a home while also monitoring conditions that have a direct impact on human health and safety. The live online format will allow you to ask questions in real time, as well as to engage in discussion with your fellow students.

Prerequisites
While there are no prerequisites for our BPI Building Analyst course, we find that this course is best suited for those individuals who have a background in residential construction, contracting or inspection industries. High school level math is also recommended. If for any reason you need a little more study time or practice in the field, you may make arrangements to take the written and/or field test at our next area course. A laptop with internet access is required for written testing on Thursday.

CleanEdison's BPI Building Analyst Field Training applies the fundamental principles learned in the classroom to an actual residential home. The training will have a large focus on Combustion Appliance Zone testing due to its importance with maintaining the health of the housing occupants. You will go on location and be taught how to identify common residential problems and learn to use the following equipment:
