BPI Building Analyst Training For HERS Raters
Working as a HERS Rater means you already have background in the fundamentals of energy auditing and building science. CleanEdison now offers a course targeted towards HERS Raters looking to take the next step in the industry, gaining BPI Building Analyst Certification.
Gaining an individual BPI certification or a company accreditation can qualify you or your company to work with programs such as Home Star and other federal, state, local and utility funded energy efficiency programs.
BPI Building Analyst Training For HERS Raters
HERS Raters will participate in hands-on training covering all the important procedures leading up to the testing, as well as the blower door and duct blaster testing, thermal and pressure boundary evaluation, as well as air sealing/dense packaging/insulation/ ventilation training. Students will be required to submit a copy of their HERS Rater certificate to CleanEdison prior to attending the class. This will allow the student to take the 50-question Building Analyst written exam on day 3 followed by the 2 hour one-on-one field exam on day(s) 3- 4.
