BPI accreditation is for companies. BPI certification is for individuals. In order for home owners to qualify for rebates, they have to have their energy audit performed by a BPI BA certified auditor from a BPI accredited company. In order for a company to become BPI accredited they must have at least one employee who has a BPI BA, and an advanced BPI certification such as the one obtained from taking CleanEdisons Envelope & Shell class.

Is advanced BPI accreditation required to qualify for rebates?

BPI is a widely recognized standard for energy efficiency. The certification should make your business and your practices more attractive and marketable to clients. A BPI certification will allow you to diversify the revenue streams for your business. First it will allow you to perform Energy Efficiency Audits on homes. After the audit is complete you will make recommendations for improvements to the home owner, which will generate a variety of opportunities for your business to grow and capitalize upon.

Do you offer discounts for the Advanced BPI since I paid full price for the other course I took with you?

Only ONE employee in a company seeking BPI accreditation needs to have the BA and one secondary specialization certification (Envelope & Shell, Heating Specialist, etc.). All additional employees need to have the BA to perform audits as a BPI accredited company. However, the certification stays with that one individual. If they decide to leave the company or retire the certification will follow. That is why it is important to certify more than one person in your company to ensure your company retains the accreditation.
