BPI Continuing Education Units

This course will provide BPI Continuing Education credits for BPI Certified professionals seeking recertification.

BPI mandates recertification every three years, so if you were on the early wave of people getting this now-standard industry credential, you may need to renew your certification in order to stay up to date with market requirements.

There are three routes to recertification:

Option 1: Complete 30 hours of continuing education, and take and pass the field examination for each designation.

Option 2: Complete between 10 and 29 hours of continuing education, pass a 50 question written examination, and pass the field examination for each designation.

Option 3: Submit fewer than 10 hours of continuing education, and pass the 100 question written examination and field examination for each designation. (Essentially, go back through the complete certification).

Timeline for recertification: You may take the required examinations for renewable up to six months prior to the date of your certification expiration date. The renewed certification period will start from the date of expiration of the initial certification.
