Why Take This course:
Any person who performs the tasks involved in the asbestos survey, identification and assessment of the condition of asbestos and asbestos material, or who is involved in the collection of bulk samples of asbestos material for laboratory analysis, is required to have this training under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA). This Inspector course certifies individuals to survey, identify and assess the condition of asbestos and asbestos material and record and report the results.
This course is ideal for home inspectors, contractors, HVAC Professionals, insulation professionals, general contractors and anyone interested in inspecting projects that may contain asbestos.
What You'll Learn:
CleanEdison's 3-day Asbestos Inspector course covers many topics including types and uses of asbestos, potential health effects and regulatory framework. The participant will also be involved in physical assessments of ACM, Personal Protective Equipment and hands-on skill sets. This course also accredits any individual handling the collection of bulk samples of asbestos material or suspected asbestos material for laboratory analysis.
