Why Take This course:
Any worker must have a valid Asbestos Handler certificate in order to legally work on projects that contain asbestos. The Asbestos Abatement Contractor/Supervisor Training is a 40 hour course that includes the full 32-hour asbestos abatement worker/handler initial program, as well as 8 additional course hours specific to accredit those individuals who provide supervision and direction to workers engaged in asbestos abatement activities and/or individuals who operate an abatement business.
This course is ideal for home inspectors, contractors, HVAC Professionals, insulation professionals, general contractors and anyone interested in supervising projects that contain asbestos.
What You'll Learn:
CleanEdison's 5-day Asbestos Supervisor course includes topics such as supervisory techniques, insurance and liability considerations, PPE, and an overview of federal and state regulations. The participant will also be involved in extensive instruction and hands-on training on work area preparation, decontamination facility construction and use, abatement techniques, and cleanup procedures. Special emphasis is placed on following proper procedures and developing safe work habits.

Asbestos Certificate:
