NABCEP CERTIFICATION
What certification does this course prepare me for?
This course provides the knowledge you need to pass the Solar Heating Installer Certification Exam, administered by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP).
What is the Solar Heating Exam like?
Solar Heating exam lasts 4 hours and consists of approximately 70 equally weighted multiple-choice questions, with 4 choices per question. In a scaled scored between 0 and 99 the required score of passing the exam is 75, note that the results are not curved. After they will be completed, they will be mailed to the candidates within 6 weeks after taken the exam.
How do I register for the exam?
The application for the exam must be submitted electronically or postmarked at least 71 days prior to the exam date. Two weeks prior to the exam, candidates receive the Admission Slip, which contains the scheduled date, time and location of the examination.
