Many state and local laws require a HAZWOPER 40 Certification for workers that perform activities that expose or potentially expose them to hazardous substances, including hazardous waste. Designed in accordance with OSHA requirements, this training is intended to meet the requirements of introductory general training as well as on-the-job site specific operating procedures for use of personal protective equipment, decontamination methods and other procedures.
What you'll learn:
CleanEdison's 40-HR HAZWOPER training course is designed to teach workers or supervisors who enter sites that contain potentially hazardous waste basic health & safety work practices necessary to confidently work with and around hazardous materials and waste. This training program consists of a synopsis of the core elements of an occupational safety and health program including emergency response plan and procedures. Additional course topics to be explored include proper use of air monitoring devices and appropriate use and hands-on demonstration of Personal Protective Equipment.

HAZWOPER Certification:
