What accreditation does this course prepare me for?
This course prepares students to sit for the LEED Building Design + Construction exam, administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).
What is the LEED AP Building Design + Construction exam like?
The exam lasts 4 hours and contains two parts that can only be taken on the computer. Candidates are not allowed to have any books open during the exams or any devices besides the computer.
Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 170 out of 200 in order to pass the exam. The results are automatically revealed on your computer right after you submit your exam. To learn more, download the official LEED AP Building Design and Construction candidate handbook.
How do I register for the exam?
Once candidates receive their eligibility ID, they have to schedule their exam within a year of application. Click here to register for the LEED AP Building Design + Construction exam.
The Exam Fees are:
- Application: $100
- Full Exam: $300 ($450 for non-members)
Where and when do I take the exam?
LEED AP with specialty exam is available Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at any Prometric testing center. You can schedule your exam whenever within a year of application. Click here to find your nearest testing center.
