What accreditation does this course prepare me for?

This course prepares students to sit for the LEED AP Operations and Maintenance exam, administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).

What is the LEED AP Operations and Maintenance exam like?

The exam lasts 4 hours and contains two parts that can only be taken on the computer. Candidates are not allowed to have any books open during the exams or any devices besides the computer. The first part of the exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and has to be completed within the first two hours of the exam. The second part also includes 100 multiple-choice questions and has to be completed within the last two hours of the exam. All candidates must achieve a minimum score of 170 out of 200 in order to pass the exam. The results are automatically revealed on your computer right after you submit your exam. How do I register for the exam? 

Once you receive your eligibility ID, you have to schedule your exam within a year of application. Click here to register for the LEED AP Operations and Maintenance Exam.

The Exam Fees are:

  • Application: $100
  • Full Exam: $300 ($450 for non-members)
  • >Cancelation or Rescheduling: 50$ within 30 days of your appointment

    Where and when do I take the exam?

    LEED AP with specialty exam is available Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at any Prometric testing center. You can schedule your exam whenever within a year of application. Click here to find your nearest testing center.
