Executive Team

Avi Yashchin is CEO of CleanEdison and a member of U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Avi is an outspoken advocate of green building and renewable energy and applies his expertise in finance to sustainability projects at CleanEdison.

Prior to founding CleanEdison, Avi spent seven years in finance where he served as vice president in the Global Credit Products group and also traded for the bank's bank loan financing portfolio in the Energy, MLP and Financials sectors. Avi graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BS in Computer Science and received an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is active in the New York philanthropy circle and started the New York Philanthropy Group which helps bring underprivileged South American business students to New York and jumpstart their career. He is a triathlete and frequently competes in races.

Claire Cunningham oversees the marketing strategy and implementation for CleanEdison, which encompasses new product development. Claire has extensive experience delivering content through web, mobile, and print media. Her background includes successfully building and exiting start-ups in the publishing and education industries, including BiblioBazaar, a print-on-demand company that's revolutionizing the publishing industry, and Celedu, an educational mobile application out of the MIT Media Lab. She also has an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from MIT Sloan.

Megan is responsible for coordinating research and drafting policy initiatives, proposals and projects for Green workforce development. She develops and implements CleanEdison’s strategy for securing government contracts. Previously, Megan worked for the office of U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid where she assisted in developing party position on economic reform for bail-out and stimulus legislation through extensive research on macro-level multipliers, federal and state budget gaps and unemployment trends. Megan received her JD with Honors from Syracuse University College of Law.

Ryan Williams is Vice President of Sales for CleanEdison. Ryan coordinates the sales team’s nationwide outreach on courses and trainings. This includes: Open enrollment and Community College courses, large and small scale dedicated corporate training as well as training through individual training grants. Ryan also spearheads national training coordination with federal, state and local incumbent grant opportunities, as well as GSA government outreach. Ryan continuously forms strategic alliances and partnerships to further strengthen course offerings. Ryan graduated from Fordham University with a BA in Finance and Economics. He also holds a Masters in Real Estate Development from NYU’s Schack Institute.
