Dan is a Senior Consultant at YRG with a focus on building system optimization. He has experience with energy and daylight modeling, building performance modeling, and has done extensive green materials research. Dan helped develop LEEDuser.com, and serves as a guest expert on this website supporting LEED projects.



John Boecker, AIA, serves as a partner in 7group a green building design consulting firm. John has designed seven LEED® Certified buildings, including two of the first 15 projects nationwide to achieve LEED Certification and has participated as a team member on over 30 additional LEED certified projects to date. John helped develop LEEDuser.com, and serves as a guest expert on this website supporting LEED projects.

Ann Edminster is a recognized national expert on green home design and construction. She is a principal author of the LEED® for Homes Rating System and consults to builders, owners, developers, supply chain clients, design firms, investors, and public agencies. She has designed more than 100 home remodels, and her own home remodel won a green building award in January 2007. Ann helped develop LEEDuser.com, and serves as a guest expert on this website supporting LEED projects.

Lauren is co-founder and Principal of YRG Sustainability. She is a recognized leader in the sustainability industry with experience enabling corporations, building owners, project teams, and communities to implement and benefit from sustainability-focused solutions. Lauren helped develop LEEDuser.com, and serves as a guest expert on this website supporting LEED projects.

John is a veteran of the United States Army as a Combat Engineer specializing in demolitions and explosions. He is an EPA lead supervisor/contractor as well as a New York State DOL asbestos supervisor.

Howard graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, with an emphasis in heat transfer and material science. He holds all BPI certifications. He is also a certified level II Infrared Thermographer with specialties in Building Science and Weatherization applications. He is a program partner with the New York State Home Performance with Energy Star Program, and the Energy STAR labeled new homes program. Howard lives in Schenectady, NY with his wife and 3 children.

Norm has over 22 years of general contracting experience in single and multi-family residential construction (over 150 homes built). He has an engineering degree from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Wharton School.

Clifford has performed renaissance construction for over 25 years. Most recently he was the manager of a contracting department in a large nationally know energy efficiency company. He oversaw efficiency retrofits including HVAC upgrades, building envelope improvements, and Solar installations.
