Our mission is to promote clean technology and sustainable practices throughout the United States by providing exceptional training, education and career assistance. We offer online, in-classroom, and hands-on vocational training to professionals, businesses, post-secondary institutions, government organizations and novices.
To date, CleanEdison has trained and certified over 15,000 individuals through the largest open enrollment clean technology program in the nation. Our training courses aim to develop a new group of professionals with the knowledge and expertise needed to lead the industry in a more environmentally and economically sustainable direction. With hundreds of hours of proprietary content, CleanEdison's courses to prepare students to gain nationally-recognized certifications in these growing sectors.

Meet the Team
William Helfricht has been with the company since 2011 and has worked on all facets of the company's growth model. He started in open enrollment sales and has moved onto working with corporate accounts and successfully winning long term grant contracts in multiple states. After graduating from the NY based Hofstra University with a BA Marketing & Psychology, he has used his solid sales experience in the medical and finance industries to transition to being an integral part of CleanEdison.
Emily Viohl is responsible for managing CleanEdison's grant applications and programs. Prior to joining CleanEdison, she lobbied for the preservation of natural resources with the Sierra Club at the Virginia General Assembly. Emily graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and History.
Alex Luntz is a Junior Account Manager at CleanEdison. During his undergraduate studies, he did consulting work for the New York Parks Department and conducted carbon capture research at the Lenfest Center for Sustainable Energy. Alex graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Sustainable Development and a Concentration in Psychology.
Christian Figorito is CleanEdison's Affliate Manager, and is in charge of building mutually valuable relationships with companies in the renewable energy sector. He has 15 years+ of experience building community partnerships focused on education and training. He's also lead a number of high profile training projects, from the deployment of FINRA's Learning Management System to the launch of Kaplan Test Preparation's first iteration of online courses. Christian holds a BA in English and an MBA from City University of New York.
Elliot Sloan is a Sr, Clean Tech Education Consultant at CleanEdison, He currently manages the open enrollment business nationwide, as well as corporate partnership development, and new product development. Prior to joining CleanEdison Elliot spent several years as a District Manager for ADP selling payroll, 401K, and HR solutions. Elliot has always had a deep passion for renewable energies, specifically solar energy, and was very eager to join the CleanEdison team to help build the best Solar training program in the industry. Elliot graduated from the High Point University and double majored with a B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
Hemant Patel joined CleanEdison in 2011. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships at CleanEdison, Hemant administers projects by bringing key associations & companies together, providing leadership and direction. He is responsible for both delivering and developing strategic methods for increasing the number and type of training certifications that CleanEdison has to offer. Hemant’s focus is on building a variety of corporate contacts in order to cultivate long term relationships. He is originally from London and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from City University. Donald began his career working on political campaigns in New York before moving to Boston to manage energy procurement in the NE ISO end user sector. At Clean Edison he works across the country building consortium's, developing new products and servicing the corporate markets. Donald graduated Providence College with a B.S. in Political Science. He is an avid woodworker, coffee drinker and bike rider.
