The BPI Building Analyst training course does not provide knowledge on multifamily buildings. Although upon completion of the BPI Building Analyst training course, there is a BPI Multifamily Building Analyst training course, which will provide all of the knowledge on multifamily buildings.

Unfortunately, we do not reserve seats for our Solar Training classes at this time. However, we will have one of CleanEdison Account Representatives contact you to discuss other options that may be available.

I wanted to enrol but my card can not cover the full amount because it is limited to a certain amount so is there a way I can reserve a seat for July 19, 2010 and pay upfront in cash before attending the start of the classes? Solar PV Boot Camp.

Solar equipment is expensive and safety on the job is imperative. Rather than just an online tutorial, CleanEdisons course provides in-depth, hands-on training on a variety of different solar panels, inverters, modules, etc. to give the student a complete understanding of all solar materials encountered in the field. Your tuition includes instruction, materials, text book, examination fee, labs and daily catered lunch on all 5 days. All students receive a course completion certificate on the last day. Students who pass the certification exam on the last day are also awarded the Certified Solar Thermal Professional certification. As a board certified training provider for NABCEP, the Solar PV Boot Camp provides the initial NABCEP Entry Level certification, which is the first step to become a NABCEP installer.

Why is your solar class so expensive? What is included?

 Open enrollment courses are offered in Newark, NJ and Fremont, CA.  Custom corporate training classes for ten or more students can be arranged at any other US-based location.

Do you offer solar training in any other locations?

My husband is interested in obtaining help for training on working with Solar Panel instalation. I called the South Florida Workforce office listed for my region (Miami) and they do not have this course listed. Can you please provide me with another place I can call? We would greatly appreciate your help in this matter.

Does the BPI accreditation training provide the knowledge required to assess larger multi-family building systems and does the training address various facade systems?
Please explain.

I believe the program you are referring to is the "Installer Program". From the description that I have heard this certification would be in line with what you need. Unfortunately the standards, similar to that of the Building Analyst Standards, have not been created yet so creating a program designed for this specific certification is difficult at this point in time. However, we keep very close contact with BPI and have worked with numerous organizations in many different facets so I believe we can help you to develop your program. I spoke with a BPI rep last week about a new certification about to come out in "air sealing and insulation" that will be targeted to laborers . We are a non-profit agency serving adults who want to integrate this training and prepare our students to take the certification. Our Building Maintenance training is already in place; we just want to add specifics for this certification. We are applying for a grant to cover costs of consulting on curriculum development. Can you help us with this?
