Solar Thermal Boot Camp 5-Days
Solar Thermal Boot Camp (5 Days)
Our Solar Thermal Boot Camp has been designed to be ideal for any solar professional (or soon-to-be solar professional). Using real-world, hands-on installation training techniques, top instructors, and solar thermal training equipment created with the goal of giving you the knowledge and skills you'll need to start delivering solar thermal to your clients, our course will give you real-world experience in solar thermal installation.
Solar thermal training is an interesting and vital part of solar energy training in general. Solar thermal technology uses thermal collectors to harness the sun's energy as heat. Usually, this heat is used to heat water, or it is stored in the form of steam. Solar Thermal Energy can be used for the heating of water for residential, commercial, or industrial purposes. Solar Thermal installers would mount the thermal collectors using similar equipment as those involved in solar PV installations, but knowledge of the plumbing system is needed to connect the water pipes of the collector to the plumbing system.
In five days, you can receive training from a top Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) accredited provider and solar thermal training organization, National Solar Trainers. This credential will show that you have achieved understanding of the fundamental principles of solar thermal energy, including their application, design, installation, and operation. Solar training will set you on the path to earning a highly respected title that denotes a detailed working knowledge of electrical and plumbing codes, and accepted industry practices associated with solar thermal systems.
- Day 1 – Solar Thermal Fundamentals
- Day 2 – Solar Thermal Sales and Estimation
- Day 3, 4, 5 – Hands-On Solar Thermal Installation and Design
Solar thermal is a powerful technology with compelling benefits that has seen dramatic growth in popularity over the past few years. To get started on your own solar career, become a part of this quickly-growing industry by signing up below or calling us today.

Testimonials
If I was asked to rate my experience, training, & education quality on a scale from one to ten, ten being the best, I would give it a 20. Without a doubt this has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. In five days I feel I have gone from a solar dummy to a solar pro. Really, the quality of education at all levels has been exemplary. If a student is thinking about a course in solar then this is the Stanford of Solar. Real hands on experience coupled with great instructors is a win
-win for all. Thank you. Jay A.
